On 27th and 28th September, 10:30 am to 5 pm.
Creative Writing is that writing in which the writer is more important than the reader. Come, discover the joy of writing.
Day 1 :
Everyone has a novel inside them, the huge storehouse of memories spiced with emotions. Accessing this storehouse to the pen is the first step in the unblocking of the writers block that most of us face. The healing property of art is in the ability to bring outside those buried treasure boxes. Writing gives us the opportunity to resolve those unanswered questions. Once we know what we can write, we will proceed to the craft of writing.
We will deal with two different approaches to fiction writing, the American conflict-resolution structure and our melo-dramatic Navrasas. Thus stretched in opposite directions , we will find a way to tell our story.
Day 2 :
Writing a short story to its completion will be the goal on this day. We will understand how to merge truths and lies together to weave an interesting structure. The only way to make a story memorable is to infuse it with rich characters. And finally, self editing is a tool no writer can do without. Transition, the writers final tool, the point where you realize that you have made a point and move on.
